“My mother raised me with the philosophy, that to lead is to serve. And what greater service can I offer but to serve the citizens of this country.”

What Is Your Legacy?

To lead is to serve, this principle guides my life.

My conviction was forged by family legacy and irrevocably shaped on September 11, 2001. Like so many Americans, I learned that freedom isn’t guaranteed, it requires citizens who will engage, protect, and hold power accountable.

I saw the failure of that accountability firsthand while volunteering at Northeast Florida State Hospital. Vulnerable people were being mistreated by the system sworn to protect them. I spoke up. I challenged the injustice. And for it, I was removed.

I refused to walk away. My family and I built a business focused on sustainable community efforts, creating volunteer opportunities for those transitioning out of mental health institutions, helping them rebuild their lives and rejoin society.

That same refusal to back down led me to run for Congress in 2022. During the race, I received an email from a political action committee. They offered future campaign support, but only if I dropped out and endorsed the sitting representative. They warned they could “financially destroy” anyone who challenged them. I said no. Instead, I stayed in the race and exposed their backroom deal to the public.

In the military, I saw the same pattern: a lack of accountability. When my fellow service members and I went unpaid and leadership ignored it, I contacted my local representative. That representative came to the base, demanded answers, and forced a resolution. For speaking up, I faced reprisal, but I also earned the respect of my Drill Sergeants and comrades, who started calling me “Congress.”

Through every fight, my wife reminded me of our legacy: “We stand up to injustice, even when it’s hard. If not now, when?”

I’ve carried that charge forward. I refuse to be the “good man” who does nothing.

That’s why I’m running for Congress in Florida’s 14th District: to bring this same relentless accountability to Washington. I’ll fight for the forgotten, defend our rights, root out corrupt deals, and deliver real results for working families. These aren’t just promises, they’re the continuation of a life spent in service.
